Hi all,

Am offering eight skeins of commercial spun yarn. This is about a sportsweight, 4 medium pink, 3 deep pink, 1 deep rose (these colors coordinate well together).  Total weight is a little over a pound. Probably acrylic, or acrylic blend. very soft. $15 postage paid to US locations.

Some are full skeins, some are partial. They'd be good if you like to make afghans, or projects that work for scrap yarn. It's all about the same gauge.

1.Royal purple "lopi" type yarn, 100% wool, soft, single ply, delightful homespun thick and thin texture. This bulky weight yarn is a rich grape purple color. My image makes it look more blue, but it is really a deep and rich purple. Two skeins available, each skein yields about 105 

2. Natural white (cream) undyed 100% wool yarn, single ply. This yarn is between a sport and a worsted weight. It actually gets a little fuzzy as you knit. So your garment gets a soft woolen look. It is light and fluffy and perfect for lacey mohair garments-- shawls, cuffs, tams,mittens-- It is hand-painted to a colorway I call "Mountain Shadows"-- soft shades ranging from deep purple to pale violet and rose. It is a lovely yarn, and very rewarding to work with. Boucle mohair is a delight to work with. It is a thin yarn, but it's beautiful bubbly texture makes it perfect and warm for light weight garments. It's easy to use, and almost anything you make will look professional. Mohair comes from angora goats. Sometimes it is called angora yarn, but most of the time, people call it mohair yarn. Most people don't know that there are both angora goats and angora rabbits that produce fiber used in yarn. Both types of fiber yarns can be described as angora yarn. However, most of the time, people who sell exotic yarns know enough to label the angora goat hair yarn as "mohair" and the angora rabbit fur yarn as "angora." Generally speaking, angora rabbit fur yarn is softer than angora goat hair yarn, mohair, though I have felt some angora goat hair yarn--kid mohair, that is so soft, it could be mistaken for pure angora rabbit fur yarn, especially when dyed. I make and sell both types of angora yarn: angora rabbit fur yarn, and mohair-- angora goat hair yarn. My favorite yarn is the angora rabbit fur yarn.
